The position is a Study Director / Principal Investigator for Immunoassay LCMS working at a fast growing global company. This is a fantastic role for someone looking to manage studies from start up to close out.
Responsibilities
- Fulfil the role of Study Director and/or Principal Investigator, assuming overall accountability for assigned studies, while receiving support from competent and experienced Study Directors as necessary.
- Efficiently manage studies by establishing realistic timelines that consider the company’s and external stakeholders’ requirements, and ensure adherence to those timelines once established.
- Effectively communicate with external stakeholders to maintain clear and productive lines of communication.
- Maintain regular communication with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project progression.
- Uphold the scientific integrity and regulatory compliance of study data through comprehensive review of all study runs, as a minimum requirement.
- Resolve scientific issues by collaborating with relevant departments, such as Research & Development, operations, and management.
- Update and review Analytical Laboratory Methods (ALM) in a timely manner.
- Contribute to the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) relevant to the Study Director role.
- Collaborate with operations, particularly the Lead Analyst, to ensure continuous progress of studies.
- Coordinate with the Research & Development team to facilitate the seamless transition of methods into the validation phase.
Requirements
- Degree in life sciences
- Experience Study directing within a CGP / GLP laboratory
- Experience with laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)
- Experience with LCMS Method Development
- Ability to review SOPs and ALMs
